Today's case, a girl (Who's clearly an Otaku. xD), comes in and says that there's something fishy going around by where a friend of hers lives. Someone has invaded their space, causing her to assume that something's not right. Kogoro just says, "Meh...", (Well, okay not literally, but still... xD) but good thing Conan agrees to help! :D
I think her name is Funaji or something like that. (I don't know, I"m just assuming because once I learn the characters names on these episodes, I seem to forget them right after watching it. xD I have a bad memory in a way. xD) I wish she was one of those cameo characters though, that usually make appearences from time to time, because I just love her personality. xD
Marina: C'mon, We need more Otakus here. I mean, sure we have Conan and Hattori, but that's still not enough. xD
Conan: Oi, Oi.... You're an otaku yourself Marina...
So, the case begins! Conan and Funaji go and check out the apartment room together. Apparently Conan notices the door jam and key hole all jacked up, and notes that someone has forced their way in here to get a better look at the place. Then he notices the notebook on the table, once they enter inside. He takes the notebook and looks inside it. He then flips to a page where a layout of the place has been drawn. There were key symbols almost on every part of the apartment, which means that they sure kept this place secure, all right.
Funaji starts jumping to conclusions, and then says that there might possibly be a bank robbery, and the bank robbery will turn out to be like something from a manga she once read. xD
By the way, I like the way she calls Conan as "Edogawa-sama". xD It's cute. :p
So, Conan goes and asks the two men whom live next door and says if they noticed anything strange, or could possibly have anything to do with this case. The two men seem to know the girl, but they say that they have no part in this case whatsoever, so they go back inside their apartments. Those men seemed a little rude to me. D:
Funaji starts to lose her two papers which were in the printer, already printed out since the wind was blowing them away. (Nasty wind. xD), When they went to go after them, a case occured.
Apparently, there's been a bank robbery, according to Takagi, and Conan has already began his investigation and is sure that the culprit has used a certain exit to escape.
Marina: Already on your deductions, I assume.
Conan: At least I have a solid deduction.
So Conan and Funaji come to investigate the crime scene with Takagi and the forensic officers. Takagi seemed to found a Jacket behind something that was there. Most likely, It's the culprits. So, Conan and Funaji told Takagi to come with them so they can identify the two possible suspects of the crime. One of them has to be the culprit. Conan is on the case! :D
Takagi comes along, and shows him his badge, so he can ask them a few questions. It turns out that Nashida (I think his name was), was telling them that he wasn't the one who did it, and he's not lying about that. The true culprit who Conan suspects is already looking through the peep hole at this very moment, is none other than his next door neighbor himslef. It was him because of the dirt and mud that was on his pants and shoes while running back to his place. He also wrote a letter to someone explaining the notebook on the desk on his laptop, which was taken from the guy. (Noting the clean spot on the desk, where the laptop once had been.) The wood chip which was stuck on the sleeve of his pants, was from when he was breaking the door jam to break inside his neighbor's apartment.
He confessed, and case closed! Conan has successfully solved another case. Wait... Huh? What's that? It was none other than Funaji-chan herself? Eh....Ehhhhhhh?!
So apparently, the guy finally came, and noticed Funaji. She got pretty embarrased, yet Conan knew all along about the guy, since his room was clean once they entered in. I'm guessing Conan must've figured that she cleaned his room beforehand. (My translation wasn't very good here. D:)
And omg, I enjoyed this episode soo much. It was very interesting to see Conan and his apprentice working on a case together. I liked at the end where she was like "You're like a king, no... Your'e a god." Then Conan was like "Eh?" xD All right, next week is the Hijacked Department store case, which is a remastered episode, which means I finally get a week's off break from writing my daily Detective Conan blogs. xD See you soon! :3 - Marina
