Today's case, Conan and the gang visit a weather forecasting team for Kogoro to be viewed as a guest on a television forecasting channel. And as of course Kogoro makes a few mistakes in between as well. He always does something stupid. xD! Ran was a bit embarrased, and Conan just laughed and his thoughts were "Really?". :p
By the way, there was this one part in the episode when Conan ran into the two woman when he was getting a drink from the vending machine that was very creepy. One of the women had this creepy look on her face after they were discussing the completion of the set. When I saw her face I was like "What the Hell?!" After I saw her make that mischievous and evil looking grin I was really starting to suspect that she was the culprit.
Yup, the weather lady was murdered. Apparently she fell off a railing and fell to the floor below. Her hair piece somehow managed to get across the whole other side of the room, and that started to make Conan and I thinking. And by the way, believe me, I know their names, swear to God, but I'm just too lazy to remember them as all. Usually, once I read them, I soon forget them soon after. :p
Conan: Lazy, Lazy, Marina.
Marina: Conan-kun, I'm very good at reading my Japanese now, but I'm just too lazy to go back, and check up on their names as all. They're very easy to forget because they are just random characters. xD
Conan: Oi, Oi... I'm surprised you haven't forgotten my name already.
Then the police, (the usual Megure and Takagi duo with some forensic officers) started interrogating suspects and checking the case out. Just then, Conan stepped on some roses. He was complaining on how he stepped on them and then he got his ankle wrapped around some tinsel. xD Kogoro was complaining on how annoying he is, but then Conan pointed out the strange balloon that was popped on the floor and he was like "Ah-le-le? What's this?" Kogoro that this was strange, then he started looking at the balloon, roses, then the tinsel. Then he all placed it together. This wasn't an accident, but rather a murder. Conan was surprised and proud of Oujii-san for figuring that out.
By this, Kogoro surmised that Yasumi-san (I'm pretty sure that was her name if I remember correctly.) tripped on the tinsel, then stepped on the balloon, causing her to fall of the railing and fall on the floor. However, Conan surmised that this was not the case. Even though it sounds right, something is still missing from the puzzle. Yasumi-san's hair piece. Also, my suspicions of the woman being the culprit suddenly dropped, once I noticed that she confessed too easily. Even though, Yasumi-san gave a tough time with the workers, I don't think she was the one who could've done it now that I look back on it.
Conan: Or... You just noticed it when I noticed something was a bit off about the case.
Marina: Oh, please, I would never do that. I already noticed when she was in the middle of confessing.
Conan: Whatever you say...
Marina: Oi, Oi, Conan-kun...
I can't clearly remember how the case turned out, but apparently Conan knocked out Kogoro to sleep and solved the case with his bow tie voice changer. The noise wasn't actually the balloon popping, but rather a machine which made smoke appear out of it. The culprit just had to press the button within their suit to press it at the correct time. And the culprit was one of the men who worked with her. He confessed, and his motive was that he was getting sick of tired of her bossing him and the other workers around, and never saying sorry for it. However, Conan deduced that the dying message Yasumi-san left behind was the weather icon for "Yuki", or "Snow", in English. They also showed the other Weather icons like the one for Humidity and Rain. It was cool. :3
Oh yeah, and when Ran asked what the weather will be like tomorrow to her father, Conan surmised it, and then Kogoro predicted what the weather would be like tomorrow and then he kicked up in the air, and his shoe landed on his head, knocking him to the ground. It was funny. xD
Next week's case is "The kidnapping of a Popular artist case (Part 1)" Eh? So that means that there is a part 2? Well, I won't be here for the next two weeks since next weeks and the week after that will be remastered episodes. I've got to say though, I love Minami-san, so this is one of my most favorite episodes out of the whole series. Also, It's cute to hear Conan and his tone deaf singing. xD - Marina
