Today's case is the continuation of the Taiko Match! This match between Conan and I is starting to get really intense! *heats up*
Conan: Oi, Like I said, we are not going to do a Taiko match.
Marina: Oh, so you're saying you give up, huh?
Conan: No, I'm saying that we aren't going to play Taiko. Besides, I have a case to solve.
Marina: You can solve the case, after we finish playing this Taiko match.
Conan: Oi, Oi. What's more important, a Taiko game, or someone's life?
The detective boys get quite a shock once they find a stone that says "Yuurei Zaka" on it. Conan explains to them that it's not a ghost, and that by reading on the side of the stone, it tells you what it is. (If I call, I think it's a grave of someone's own father whom died centuries ago. But then again, my translation falls a bit short around this scene.) It soon leads to a clue as something could be hidden within this stone.
Just then, the detective boys find a shogi board, with shogi pieces on it. The strange thing about this shogi board is that it has 2 shogi pieces impelled to the board with a nail. Ah-le-le? Okashi zo! xD (Sorry, just always wanted to say that.) Anyways, Genta notices on how the shogi pieces line up to make a character in hiragana. Then, Mitsuhiko points out that the pieces could also line up to form the number "seven", or in Japanese, "nana". Just then Mitsuhiko makes a deduction as to where the pieces could form together to make a new word, which explains as to why the nail was stuck in between the two pieces. However, Conan and Shukichi do not think that this is the case.
When Haibara states that there is only 3 hours left until they can rescue Yumi from danger, according to the letter sent to Shukichi, she said something about the pieces as to what might relate to the case. Conan and Shukichi then figure out the answer.Once they realize the answer hidden within the Taiko pieces, Conan and the gang are headed towards their destination.
Conan explained to the detective boys that he figured it out by placing all the taiko pieces names in order, than, shuffling them around and mixing them with other names to form a new one. He figured out the name of where Yumi was being held captured by knowing the Japanese word "Goman" which means in English "Pride". This indicates that the place where the culprit is hiding Yumi is at "Hotel Hyde Pride".
Once everything is solved, they head to where Yumi is at. The culprit challenges Shukichi to one last game of Taiko, but however, once he thinks he finally achieved his dream of winning the Taiko match for his beloved Keiko, the culprit realizes that Shukichi is still throwing out Taiko pieces way beyond his number. He admits defeat and confesses. Shukichi is worried that a bomb will go off any second, but the culprit kindly says that it's just a fake. Everyone smiles, and a happy ending.
And I just couldn't help but blush when I saw Yumi and Shukichi kiss. It was just the sweetest thing. :3
And about the mysterious girl, she fell asleep on the bed, with the TV remote by her when Sera came out of the bath. Sera said "She fell asleep" then she noticed the television remote, and turned on the TV. Apparently, the Taiko match was on at the moment. :3
I enjoyed this week's episode! It had a lot of very hard kanji which most I couldn't understand, but I got a few of them, and solving the code with Conan-kun was also lots of fun! :D Next week, will be "Summer pool Mystery (Part 1)" Yay! I get to see Conan-kun blushing over how good Ran-san looks in her new cute bikini! (He's soo cute when he blushes! ^^) And possibly Conan-kun in a cute swimsuit as well. :D - Marina
